It was a trip down memory lane for some of the fashion enthusiasts on day two of Chennai’s International Fashion Week at Le Meridien, as Chennai’s designer Richa Kapoor took them to the seventies era with her Hippie collection. Inspired by the Hippie Movement of the 60s and 70s, Richa Kapoor showcased an array of Bohemian, spunky, loose and casual ensemble that gave a feminine touch to the models, as they sashayed down the ramp.
While the fabrics consisted of brocade and cotton with pita and thread works, the colours ranged from earthy tones like black, brown to bright colours, with a burst of hues like olive green, red and silver.
